Classic Blended Margs
We started the blog with our comfy and easy COVID mask, and now 6 months later we’re here. Yes, it’s time for a delicious frozen cocktail, all day, every day, whenever you want it. No I will not judge you if it’s 10 am on a Wednesday. I’ll join you!
This is my mom’s go-to margarita recipe which she shared with me a couple months back and it’s become the new favorite for happy hours out on the lawn, or a hot day off at the beach. Try it out and enjoy – it’s impossible to forget how to make it once you’ve done it once or twice!!
- 12 oz. can Minute Maid Limeade
- Tequila
- Cointreau
- Ice (lots of it, at least 2 trays full)
Drop the whole can of limeade into your blender. Fill the empty limeade can about halfway full with tequila, then pour that in the blender too. Add a splash of Cointreau (about a shot, but not a big deal if it’s a little more or a little less) then fill the blender to the top with ice and puree. One batch makes about 4 large servings and you’ll want to make them right before you’re ready to drink. Happy marg day!
